Burns Night Celebration at The Jugged Hare

The Jugged Hare in Barbican Celebrates Burns Night

Is there a more perfect setting to celebrate Burns Night than with a six-course gourmet menu including whisky, wine and cocktail pairing and live performer at London’s leading game restaurant?!

On 25th January, The Jugged Hare in Barbican will bring Scotland to the capital for one night only, celebrating the life and legacy of Scotland’s best-known national bard, storyteller and verse maker, Robert Burns.

A six-course, traditional Burns Night dinner will delight guests, packed with decadent homages to the iconic Scot and his verses.  Attendees will be greeted with a High Garden cocktail and rosemary bannock served with Highland Park butter, before moving onto braised Blackface lamb heart paired with a Highland Park 12-year-old.

The headline act however, is the Blackface lamb cutlets with haggis farci, bashed neeps and champit tatties, paired with a Highland Park 18 year old (see full menu below).

Each course is accompanied by either a whiskey pairing or fine wine, and live fiddle music will set the atmosphere for this luxurious and celebratory evening.

Burns Night celebrations at The Jugged Hare will take place on the 25th of January at 7.30pm.

Bookings are now open for the six-course dinner menu with wine, cocktail and whisky pairings for £95.00 per person from https://thejuggedhare.com/gourmetnight/.
